41st District Update (#7 on the Dirty Dozen)

Outlook: Toss Up

---------------RAISED (June)--------- RAISED (Overall)------- CASH ON HAND

Dave Marsden has opened up a slight lead in money raised, but a wide lead in cash on hand. Unlike candidates Frederick and Werkheiser, it looks like Golden's money was spent on voter contact leading up the June 14th primary. We said last week it would be a moral victory if Golden was within a 5-1 cash on hand margin after his primary, as we expected his numbers to be similar to the $10,000 on hand each candidate in the 37th has. So Golden has exceeded expectations here, but he still has a big cash deficit to make up going into the fall.

Oh my god! a post with a pro-golden anti-marsden slant! What a shock!

Hey - dumbass - Frederick and Werkheiser both spent plenty of time and money on voter contact. I know that for a FACT.

I don't know if you've ever worked a campaign before (to it's fruition, not just for a few months before you quit like a whiny bitch) but you really need learn something about campaigns before you create a retarded site.

All I will say to the first anonymous is we set the bar two weeks ago when we upgraded Marsden to the favorite of what we expected on this report. Golden exceeded that.

We are starting to think that the constant bashing of our site is trying to push the analysis. In other words, if people scream we are against one candidate, they think it will change what we say in the future.

It has not, and it won't.

218ANON- What's the pro-golden bias in this? He has 4 times the cash of former mayor mason next door. I'm very impressed.

What does Larry think about all of this Marsden bashing?

Just so everyone knows, this afternoon:

73 messages came in from 3:56-4:09 p.m. All were the same with 2 different messages.

I changed comments so only registered users could post, and indeed within less than a minute our friend "Not Donald Trump" began posting over and over.

Comments are now turned off until we move to our new site this weekend. Don't worry, as we said before, all of this is taken care of on the new site.

Not Donald Trump can start his/her own blog and critique every one of our entries if they would like!

In fact, to add one other thing, if Not Donald Trump starts their own blog, we are happy to let them link to each story with their own critique of it (that's worked well for Not Mark Rozell). But we will not let them take over the comments section.
