Definitely, the Anti-Virginia crowd has enough loud mouths to go around. Also, when are we going to see stories on A.G. Kilgore's mass civil servant firings similar to Ehrlich?

Gilmore is a popular politician. He'll serve his state well as governor in 09.

Gilmore is an unpopular politician. I think he'll go down in history as the worst, most irresponsible governor in Virginia history. He'd be lucky to be elected dog-catcher in 09.

No, he's a very popular person. Virginians love him and he'll be welcome with a warm embrace in 09. He'll go down as one of the greatest governors we've ever had.

I think people saying he is popular are confusing Jim Gilmore with the show Gilmore Girls. Yes, the show that shows the upside of teenage pregnancy - that if you get knocked up at 16 you can be a hot mom of 34 with a cute 18 year old daughter- is very popular. Jim Gilmore is an unpopular twit who was the state's most fiscally irresponsible Governor ever.

See the difference?

Jim Gilmore is unpopular, but could win against most Democrats. Remember the R's have won 6 of the last 6 statewide contests. It would be close

I don't mind if you run more commentary by him, but...please...no more pictures! It's before breakfast for some of us!

I think anon 8:20am and 9:11am was being sarcastic...

Jim Gilmore is unpopular with the tax-and-spend wing of Virginia, people like Democrats, former Sen. Warren Barry, Sen. Chichester, and Sen. Russ Potts. He's very popular with everyday Virginians who appreciate his returning more of their hard earned money to them instead of wasting it on un-needed government spending.

HA HA HA HA last anon you crack me up. You are SOOO out of touch. The "tax and spend" faction that you describe is polling at around 65% popularity right now. Meanwhile, Gilmore left office in utter disgrace.

Out of all of these comments zero answered my first question.

Do you want to read more from NJG or not?

Of course. It's interesting, no matter which side you take.

An emphatic NO.

Please, find folks that will actually give us information worth dwelling upon. There's plenty of hacks out there.

Be different, for the love of God!!! :)

Has anyone else noticed that Not Robert Roberts is gone??

Not Robert Roberts and the Valleysense blogs appear to have been run simply to either attack Fulk (26th Dem) or protect Lohr (26th Rep). Why did the Roberts page know about a possible scandal? Because they are the Lohr people by chance and knew where he may have put his foot in it? Valleysense, not gone away completely, but giving all appearances of having died, was also a Lohr team site dedicated to testing outlandish Rovian style attempts to get reputation ruining rumors going about Fulk and family.
The Lohr team seems willing to say and do anything they have to in order to get a whisper campaign(s) going against Fulk. Too early to tell what impact these efforts may be having.
