John Behan over at Commonwealth Conservative agrees with the top two potential upsets we listed. Just in case we were wrong, wanted to make sure the egg was spread out over multiple faces! :)

Yes, we'll both take it on the chin if we're wrong on those two. I'll share the misery!

John, will you be blogging on Election Night?

I'm going to try, but I'll be out of town (in Williamsburg) at a prosecutors conference, so I'm not sure what the internet access situation is going to be.

Hopefully, I'll be around all evening. If not, I'll send my readers your way.

Big bruhaha in the 54th. Orrock has been announcing in paid phone calls and mail that he has the endorsement of Senator Allen.

Problem is that it just ain't true. Contacted Allen's folks and they are furious with Bobby.

Big mistake on Orrock's part. This could be the nail in the coffin!

Yeah right. How are they going to respond to that charge? It's likely too late.

There is an article in todays Free Lance Star about this called "Orrock apologizes for endorsement mailing"

Orrock's mishap is talk of the town. 11th hour dirty tricks don't go over well, and folks are smart enough to know what Orrock was trying to pull.

Commonwealth Watch was all over this (thank goodness).

Does this make Orrock even more vulnerable than Reese?

Maybe, but it's awful late to change votes.

Even as a Kenney supporter, Reese is clearly more vulnerable. Orrock's a 16 year incumbent. Reese not so long.

That having been said, Kenney's put a guy on the ropes who should have never been on the ropes, and did it cleanly and well.

Reading elsewhere, I see the Orrock guys are claiming dirty campaigning. It's not the case. Kenney *has* run a great campaign that has worked very, very well. They're trying to sandbag him in the event he wins, and if that's what they are doing days before the election, you can guess how far back Bobby might be.
