The Republican Base

The most solidly Republican part of Virginia is the Richmond suburbs. The Republicans have nine Delegates who represent parts of Henrico and Chesterfield Counties. We're ready to call seven of them to return without problems to the House of Delegates.

27th District- Sam Nixon
Democrats haven't seriously challenged here in recent memory- and won't in 2005.

56th District- Bill Janis
This was a GOP pickup in 2001, of a seat held by Earl Dickenson. Louisa and Goochland are swing counties- that could elect a Democrat. In the redistricting they were combined with a few large GOP precincts in Henrico to make this district a GOP stronghold, and a safe seat for Bill Janis.

62nd District- Riley Ingram
Easy win. Again.

65th District- R. Lee Ware
Will win again after the scare he got in 2003 when his margin was held under 3-1!! (74-26)

66th District- Kirk Cox
Cruisin Again.

73rd District- John O'Bannon
Ran after he got really mad about his wife (Henrico Supervisor Pat O'Bannon) being more popular than he is. She still is.

97th District- Ryan McDougle
Lost 5 of 6 counties when this seat was created in 2001 to John Montgomery, a local Attorney. With over 70% in Hanover, Ryan won the seat. Montgomery won't run again, and without him the Democrats won't win here.

i've analyzed the republican base and i find them solidly heterosexual. and while there are some masonic elements among them, mainly these are post menopausal women who cannot breed and pass their mason genes down.
