David Englin's worst nightmare

If this happens we don't know if Englin can hold his coalition together. This must be his worst nightmare. Let's see what happens next.

Can you imagine how far ahead Englin would be if he hadn't stepped into the Moran mess?

Yep, this would be pretty much the kiss of death for Englin among many people who have decided that Englin is the best candidate, but who would be very turned off if he is seen to be very closely tied with rabid anti-Moran folks.

One of the benefits of the endorsement of the local Democracy for America group was that it demonstrates that a grassroots group which is loyal to Moran is supporting Englin. The owner of GoodbyeJim made quite a spectacle of himself at the 8th district committee (and clearly enjoyed every minute of it). He'd love to get the attention this endorsement would give him, but if he cares about getting Englin elected, he ought to back off.

The Moran issue is a cancer in the 45th. The crazies on both sides try to make everything about our congressman. NEWS FLASH: JIM MORAN IS NOT RUNNING IN THIS PRIMARY.

Jonathan Mark and GoodbyeJim people: LEAVE ENGLIN ALONE.

MVL and Moran lovers: LEAVE ENGLIN ALONE.

The Congressional race isn't for another year. We can all fight that fight then.

For now, let's focus on the election at hand.

I went to several englin events and there were tons of pro-moran people at the events...you people are blowing this out of proportion.

The question is: is Libby Garvey going door to door telling people "This guy doesn't support Moran." And, if so, is that actually working?

Local Arlington races wouldn't be half as fun if not for Jim Moran. It's just really funny when another elected official becomes the biggest issue in a campaign.

Message to the Dems: Drop the Moron already! Where's Kate Hanley when you need her?

I agree with anon #1. He would be crushing. This seems to be what keep haunting him

Englin + 45th Delegateship = platform for him to undermine America's Congressman

You mean Ireland's Congressman?

ahhh you mean the Democrat Delay??

I can't believe they are going through with this. If I were Englin, I would decline them online today before they end his campaign.

I love that. I may have to steal it. Delegateship. Nice!

Jonathan Mark, the purveyor of GoodbyeJim is an egocentric, arrogant, fool.

I'm no fan of Moran, but Mark takes the cake for maniacal, stupid, self-aggrandizing, hateful politics.

I'm with you, NLS. I can't believe they're going to go through with this. I guess the Englins can at least hope that the crazies endorse Mandala or Lay, the other darlings of that group.

Jim Moran works hard for us everyday. The only thing Jonathan is good for is a laugh.

Clinton/Warner/Moran 08!

I still can't believe the Clinton '08 crap. Didn't the Dems learn from the Kerry debacle?

Let me try this again, in language even the Dems can understand (don't worry, it's even harder to get this stuff through the GOP's bulletproof skulls):

Northern Liberals Bad

Moderate Southern Governors Good

Any questions? Good. Now quit all this Hillary crap.

Moderate Southern First Ladies=Good

I'm up for that - except to have it reversed - Mark Warner for President and Hillary Clinton for Vice-President. That would be a better ticket.
