23rd District

23rd District
Outlook: Safe Republican
Primary: Safe Bryant

The 23rd District was supposed to be home to the years best primary after Preston Bryant led the charge on last year's budget. Would Jerry Falwell's Delegate fall for siding with the Democrats?

The answer has turned out to be no. Conservatives struggled to get a candidate, finally they recruited former Lynchburg Councilman Rob Garber. He's turned out to be a dud, disorganized, poor fundraiser and no personality. Conservatives we talk to tell us they are very disappointed in his campaign.

Lynchburg will keep Bryant for two more years. One note: I'm linking to Bryant in the winners section on the right. Check out his website, under issues, and read the taxes one. It's funny, first it is at the bottom of the list. Second, have you ever seen anything so painfully written before? To quote Bill Clinton on another matter from last week "Looks like self pity to me".

Ha, no one is saying anything because it's so true. Garber is pathetic.

Fire your incumbents up north. We keep ours around for senority as so we can take your money! One thing Mister "Notlarrysabato" forgot to point out... y'all pay most of the tax increase. Most of it is spent here. Why would anyone in Lynchburg (or Roanoke) complain about that?
